Qatar Airways boosts Zagreb service

Qatar Airways will operate double daily flights from Doha to Zagreb on select days from next summer for a total of ten weekly services. The Qatari carrier will introduce a second daily flight on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, starting April 3, 2016. All services will operate with an Airbus A320.

The schedule for the three additional flights is as follows:

    This is not bad, Zagreb! And quite a boost. Interesting that QR rather increases frequencies in contrast to upgrading ZAG to A332/B787 service on those weekdays.

    1. I think frequency is more important right now because the O/D demand to Doha is less than Dubai, Istanbul, or Abu Dhabi, so Qatar must rely more on connecting pax compared to their competitors.

      Yes, I agree, I just said it was interesting. Another company with widebodies in ZAG would have been nice.

      QR today also announced to serve VIE doubledaily in future, also in that case: 2*787 rather than 1*773 (or 1*380 - though gates in Vienna are still not A380-ready).

    Oho, ugodno sam iznenaden. Ocito vrlo dobro posluju. Svaka cast.
    Eto kako su neki najavljivali jos dok je Qatar zapoceo Zagreb, da ce ta linija ubrzo propast, no eto vidite sad - dosli na 10 linija tjedno i to non-stop :) . Svaka cast.
