Sea Air begins charter flights

Thursday, July 30, 2015

Croatian start-up Sea Air, which has delayed the introduction of its scheduled flights from Osijek on four previous occasions, has launched its first charter flights. The airline operated a service from Mostar to Italy with a Boeing 737-500 aircraft, carrying some 130 pilgrims visiting the Medjugorje sight. The airline is expected to further operate a handful of charters from Mostar to Italy and Kuwait until the launch of its scheduled services from Osijek to Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich on August 9. Furthermore, Sea Air has also announced the introduction of flights between Osijek and Mostar from August 31, although no further details, such as frequencies and operational days, were given.

Not a bad idea, like that they can build up some cash reserves before entering the market of scheduled flights.
