Sea Air delays launch for a fifth time

Monday, August 10, 2015

Croatian start-up Sea Air, which was to inaugurate services yesterday, has delayed its launch for a fifth time. The Osijek-based airline was initially meant to start operations to Germany on May 18. It then pushed back its launch to June 29, followed by July 19, then August 9 and now says it will begin flights on August 23. The airline plans to operate flights to Munich, Frankfurt and Stuttgart. Furthermore, it says it will run three weekly flights between Sarajevo and Kuwait City starting August 18. In a statement, Sea Air said, "Due to the fact hat we are not prepared enough we are delaying our first flight until August 23, 2015. By then we do hope we can walk and run and fly". Osijek Airport has accused the start-up of unprofessionalism and said it is ending all contact with the carrier until it becomes serious enough to do business with. Sea Air has sold over 2.000 tickets for its flights from Osijek, none of which have taken off.

  1. Amazing that 2000 people trusted this airline.

    How about some good news?

ECA is starting flights from Split harbor today. Here is a picture of the dock with 9A-TOC, the second twin otter:

I wonder if ECA is profitable and if their planes are full.

ECA bi bez plovaka bili idealni za letove KVA-BEG i INI-BEG samo nema ko to da sapne Zorani.
