PHOTOS: Qatar Airways A330 in Belgrade

Tuesday, August 18, 2015

The arrival of Qatar Airways’ Airbus A330-200 at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport last Saturday, on the airline’s scheduled service from Doha to Belgrade via Sofia, has generated significant interest. The Qatari carrier says the 260-seat aircraft was deployed due to operational reasons and will visit the Serbian capital again on September 1. It marks the first time Qatar Airways has used a wide-body jet on its service to Belgrade. According to Belgrade Airport, it is the first time an airline has sent a much larger aircraft to operate a scheduled service to the Serbian capital. Furthermore, passengers boarding the aircraft used two airbridges.

Hasn't TK sent its own A332 once or twice roughly a year and a half ago?

Btw the flight arrived with 113 passengers and departed with 100+.

What is a big deal that you have to write 2 flash news about it and readers million of comments? Wide-body plane? So? In Dubrovnik this year you had regular flights by Thomson wide-bodies including 787. In Zagreb last year there were Korean flights with 747 and 777, ElAl with 767, Turkish with A330, TAP with A330, Air Europa with A330, every week SkyGreece with 767 and every week MNG with A330 cargo. In Ljubljana there was JAL flights. Why are you so fascinated about one wide-body flight?
