Turkish airline interested in Niš flights

Wednesday, October 7, 2015

The Ambassador of Turkey to Serbia, Mehmet Kemal Bozay, says a Turkish airline is interested in operating flights to Niš, in the country's south-east, while Turkish companies in general are willing to take part in the airport's revival. In July it was confirmed that Pegasus Airlines had requested additional information and general terms from the airport. According to the airport's Managing Director, the airline has been provided with all of the requested documentation and Pegasus is in the process of analysing the data. Earlier this year, the once deserted airport saw Wizz Air successfully launch flights to Basel and Malmo.
