Turkish Airlines to go year-round to Dubrovnik

Tuesday, April 5, 2016

The Mayor of Dubrovnik, Andro Vlahušić, has confirmed that Turkish Airlines' upcoming new service from Istanbul Ataturk Airport will be operated on a year-round basis. The flights will go towards easing Dubrovnik Airport's highly seasonal passenger flow, with over 85% of all travellers currently handled during the peak summer months. Dubrovnik Airport is in talks with several other carriers over year-long operations. Turkish Airlines will commence services from Istanbul to Dubrovnik on May 10. The inaugural flight will carry the Chairman of the Turkish Airlines Board and the Executive Committee, Ilker Ayci, as well as some thirty members of the press. Services will run three times per week. Further flight details can be found here.
