Tuzla Airport is set to receive a permit to begin handling cargo flights, Bosnia and Herzegovina's Council of Ministers Chairman, Denis Zvizdić, confirmed. “There are some technical issues which should be addressed first in order for the airport to participate in cargo traffic and foreign trade, just like Sarajevo, Banja Luka and Mostar”, Zvizdić said. There is increasing interest for the export of products of animal origin from Bosnia and Herzegovina. A Turkish airline has already expressed interest to establish cargo flights to Tuzla for meat exports to Turkey. Over the past few years, Tuzla Airport has been working on meeting the conditions to receive a cargo permit. "We have met all conditions and there is no reason for us not to be granted a permit,” Rifet Karasalihović, the Managing Director of Tuzla Airport, said. Currently meat exports to Turkey are handled by Banja Luka and Sarajevo airports.
This is not completely correct , meat exports are handled by Banja Luka and Sarajevo
