Spanish low cost airline Volotea will launch seasonal flights from Marseille, as well as its Italian base in Venice, to Dubrovnik next summer season. The service from Marseille will launch on April 2 and will initially operate once per week, before increasing to two weekly flights on June 29. On the other hand, its Venice - Dubrovnik route will be inaugurated on May 28, and run twice per week. It will compete directly against Croatia Airlines, which also maintains flights between the two cities on a seasonal basis. Volotea will run both routes with its 125-seat Boeing 717 aircraft. Flight details for the Marseille - Dubrovnik service can be found here, while additional information for the Venice flights can be viewed here.
