This will last 1 or max 2 TT seasons or as long subsidies exist.
Complete non sense opening this route
There is historically, culturally, ethnically no reason to operate that roue. Not even for business purposes as biz man hve much more options via VIE and MUC

Trade exchange is not that small. Arrival to LJU has perfect timing for connections towards West.

Flights announced 2 months before opening the route, but still cannot be booked.

Another one of JP's excellent marketing strategies? Why would you announce the route (and not talking "next year", but in 2 months) when passengers cannot book the flight?

    What a joke.

The flight is already bookable because I try to book from 29.10 to 3.11 and the price for direct flight is 220 EUR.

Airline sending people to other ticket providers, all of which take their percentage.

Sounds like a nice way to profitability.

Past 20 years JP burned apx 80 to 100 mio EUR of Slovenian tax payers money just to see that there 2010-2012 expansion strategy by buying AAP AAR AAU AAV and opening Spain,KBP,ATH,OTP,ARN,TXL was wrong. Later on Poland was added, Nordica, Hub Tirana, all gone again except TIA to FRA. Former JP country manager CH said in an interview 3 weeks ago that Government of SLO purchased Adria brand fm 4K for 8 mio EUR. So more tax payers cash burned. KBP was launchedalready twice and closed again. Dneproavia published LJUKBP flights for start June 2017 but never launched flights. Mostprobably due to poor loads
So whats this KBP again? We rather would see flights to the coast such as SPU or TIV. Dalmatia is a boom destination and with short connex strategy for ex YU dest early afternoon, i m sure they could prove success. International pax could complete the demand from SLO travellers. Of course flights would need to be promoted at 40 to 60 EUR per leg ex LJU. More JP LCC service doesnt justify and with affordable prizes SLO tourists would probl buy them. Slovenians are still 2nd best tourist nation in terms of arrivals at HR Adriatic coast
Suggest 3 or 4 flights weekly to SPU and maybe 2 to TIV

Do you have a source for this? It seems extremely unlikely.

Brac would be better with good connex in LJU. Could CR7 operate there next year?
In summer Split can only be sold yield-wise with so much direct traffic (in competion with ZAG).

Anon 9h28: "In summer Split can only be sold yield-wise with so much direct traffic (in competion with ZAG)." Not actually sure what you mean but SPU and DBV can both be sold with high yields throughout whole summer season, and both long term and short-term sales. OU prices via ZAG are outrageous - same as OS via VIE for example. More competition could lower prices significantly - and airlines will still earn very good money on these short routes.

Indeed, there was talk of Adria selling its brand to 4K (or a company connected to it) and leasing it back, but not to the government, that would be ludicrous.

Videcemo kako ce nastaviti da ih finansiraju kad sprze tih 8 meleona. 90% kompanija danas mora da ima drzavne dotacije jer trazite jeftine karte, a jos Adrija i dere neke svoje korisnike.
