NEWS FLASH

Air France's regional subsidiary HOP! will upgrade capacity on its service between Paris and Ljubljana. As reported by the "Sierra5" portal, the French carrier will deploy its 100-seat Embraer 190 aircraft on flights between the two capitals, adding an extra 24 daily seats each way. The airline currently maintains services with the smaller 74-seat E170 jet. HOP! will operate seven weekly flights between Paris and Ljubljana this summer, complementing Adria Airways' ten weekly operation (up from eight last year). The two carriers codeshare on each others' service.

Does it mean LJU has more weekly flights to CDG than BEG and ZAG?

Does anyone know how Adria is doing their new routes? In a week they should start all new summer operations, is Adria satisfied with current presell? My concerns appeared after Adria launched many special offers for their new routes in the last 2 weeks. Regards!

Spokesman for Trieste airport said that it's airport is visited by 727k people per year and 10% of which are slovenes. So that's 70k that could be going through LJU if it would have better connections

If LJU and TRS were served by exactly the same routes then people go for the cheapest options, but thats not the case. If LJU manages to get another 2-3 LCC routes (specially to Spain/Greece - 🙈) then im pretty much sure most of slovenians would fly out from LJU. I just booked tickets LJU - CDG 2 weeks ahead and the cheapest option was 170€ return - i dont think there r many willing to drive to TRS/VCE/TSF to fly for 50€ less to CDG or for 100€ less but to BVA. With more direct connections LJU will def steal some passengers from neighbouring airports. TRS can be usefull for leisure passangers (connecting in FCO is useless), anything else LJU is very decent.
