ReplyDeleteThis winter season will be much stronger than last year's.
Good morning. Any info on cargo movement? I am sure it must be strong. Congratulations Srbija.
ReplyDelete747 freighter just landed in Belgrade. From China I think. (Saw it on flight radar)
DeleteDo you know which airline?
DeleteFlight radar has a playback option (just discovered it)
DeleteSilk Way West Airlines and it came from Frankfurt Hahn. (Not China sorry)
I think Silk Way is from Azerbaijan and they mostly carry weapons that are bought by Afghanistan's police force.
DeleteI hope BEG would be much more concerning the fact it was Final Four in Belgrade this June. I am rather disappointed because of this. Especially concerning the fact that other airports in region had 15+%
ReplyDeleteFinal 4 was in May, not June.
DeleteIt's not easy to grow in large numbers when you have a big baseline. BEG is in a whole different league compared to other ex-Yu airports. That can't be simply compared.
DeleteExactly, Belgrade is growing nicely and organically for many years.
DeleteBEG is becoming a true multi-regional hub!
DeleteOn July 2 BEG handled it's 2.5 milionth passenger, 8 days earlier than ever before. So in just two days the airport handled some 40.000 passengers!!!!
ReplyDeleteCargo dropped by 25%
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know why is that? I had a feeling that cargo is booming, with Etihad and Turkish sending wide bodies often.
From what did you make that up.
DeleteLast June Serbia sold some tanks to Cameroon and they were carried by plane. That's why there is such a fall this June.
DeleteThat said, cargo is up by 19% so far.
What a nice uniform. Hijab, abaya and everything... :D
