  1. Fantastic. So overall growth will be around 9% by the end of the year.

This winter season will be much stronger than last year's.

    2. Do you know which airline?

    3. Flight radar has a playback option (just discovered it)

Silk Way West Airlines and it came from Frankfurt Hahn. (Not China sorry)

    4. I think Silk Way is from Azerbaijan and they mostly carry weapons that are bought by Afghanistan's police force.

  3. I hope BEG would be much more concerning the fact it was Final Four in Belgrade this June. I am rather disappointed because of this. Especially concerning the fact that other airports in region had 15+%

    2. It's not easy to grow in large numbers when you have a big baseline. BEG is in a whole different league compared to other ex-Yu airports. That can't be simply compared.

    3. Exactly, Belgrade is growing nicely and organically for many years.

    4. BEG is becoming a true multi-regional hub!

  4. On July 2 BEG handled it's 2.5 milionth passenger, 8 days earlier than ever before. So in just two days the airport handled some 40.000 passengers!!!!

  5. Cargo dropped by 25%

Does anyone know why is that? I had a feeling that cargo is booming, with Etihad and Turkish sending wide bodies often.

    1. From what did you make that up.

    2. Last June Serbia sold some tanks to Cameroon and they were carried by plane. That's why there is such a fall this June.

That said, cargo is up by 19% so far.
