NEWS FLASH

A total of 24 passengers have tested positive for the coronavirus Covid-19 on a Wizz Air flight from Skopje to Turku last Saturday. Passengers were voluntarily tested upon arrival at Turku Airport. There were 157 passengers on board the flight in question. Authorities said they have traced flights from Skopje and Bucharest as two main sources of recent new coronavirus infections in Finland. The Nordic country now plans to introduce a mandatory two-week quarantine for passengers arriving from at-risk countries. There is still no evidence the virus spread among passengers on board.

I really don't think this is a cause for celebration. Now everyone entering Finland from Macedonia has to go into quarantine.

According to ministry of health 90 pax were Kosovo passport holders... and then people claim how SKP does not depend on Kosovo market.

It does not depend on the Kosovo market.
Of course Kosovars transiting through SKP (at least the ones without Covid) are a nice addition to the SKP numbers, but SKP was also thriving without them.

Dude, 50% of passngers on this flight are Kosovo passport holders and the high number of Finnish passport holders on this flight - 60 are probably all from Kosovo as well. Ask any Wizz crew in Skopje. More than half of passengers on all flights are from Kosovo.

Anyone who has flown from SKP knows that Albanians make a huge proportion of the passengers, but how could you say who lives in Kosovo, who lives in Macedonia and even who comes from Albania?

It is more than obvious that this route exists to serve Kosovo Albanian diaspora in Finland.
I highly doubt a single Finn was in this flight.

more then you can imagine. If i look at a month like September and remove the number of finish tourists for the same month last year it looks that 30% of Wizz pax for that month were finnish tourists (October is looking even better) If you dont believe me numbers are online...

and OHD had flights to Helsinki before u even knew Finnair even existed.

but why do I even waste my time telling u this ...

Finnair flew some year ago to Ohrid with E190 2pw.
The past year Nordica (the last three years actually) with CRJ900 from Tallinn every saturday, which is considerable knowing the connections between Finns and Estonians.
