Sarajevo Airport reaches 66% of pre-pandemic traffic

Sarajevo Airport handled 84.462 passengers in October, representing a decrease of 11.7% on the same month in 2019. During October, Wizz Air operated the most flights out of Sarajevo, followed by Austrian Airlines and Turkish Airlines. With 29.260 seats on sale, Wizz Air had the most capacity on offer from Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital, followed by Turkish Airlines (20.723) and Austrian (13.664). During the January - October period, Sarajevo Airport welcomed 634.945 travellers through its doors, representing a decrease of 37.7% on the same period during the pre-pandemic 2019.
