NEWS FLASH
Croatian charter carrier Trade Air has added a seventh aircraft to its fleet through the lease of an Airbus A320 jet from the Dublin-based lessor Goshawk. The the sixteen-year-old A320 was previously operated by Jazeera Airways and Flynas. It carries the Croatian registration 9A-BTK and has the capacity to seat 180 passengers. Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, Trade Air has added three Airbus aircraft to its fleet. With the new addition, the charter carrier will operate four A320s, one A319, one Fokker 100 and one Turbolet L-410.
Bravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteHonestly at this point Trade Air should just become the national carrier
ReplyDeleteTrade Air is on fire.
DeleteSafe flying.
There is some word about them acquiring a new plane for PSO in replacement of Let. Also I could see them taking a few routes from Zagreb after OU fails (let's be honest it looks like OU is next Adria)
ReplyDeleteWhich ac type is in question?
DeleteI still think, that croatia gouverment is still more proud of croatia than slovenia gouverment was of adria :(
DeleteI am surprised ExYuAviation is not paying more attention to them? No news about their destinations, number of passengers, or profitability? Given that they have 7 planes and obviously doing well, I would be interested to learn more about them.
ReplyDeleteThey are an ACMI operator. 98% of passengers are not theirs. Their PSO flights are operated by a plane with 10 seats, which is operated by another airline on their behalf.
Delete19 seats, not 10
DeleteYeah, ... would not seat in their aircraft even when on ground.
ReplyDeleteWhy
DeleteHes probably ceo of Croatia 😂
DeleteAre you implying that TradeAir is lacking Croatian substance and fibre?
DeleteI am assuming Anon 17:27 is referring to the slavery tactics imposed to the pilots by Trade Air owners. From pay-to-fly to some even worse, like safety protocols, etc.
DeleteZnaci uvek ima neka kvaka sa ovakvim firmama... Too bad
DeleteIs it safe to fly with their Turbolet L 410?
ReplyDeleteWhy wouldn't it be? The Let has a bad safety record because it was designed to fly in very rough environment, and it does, hence more accidents than with let's say an Airbus always flying to nice and equiped airports. But Croatia is nothing rough, all airports are modern and well equiped. Yes it's not pressurised, so you can't always fly above clouds, the ride may be a little bumpier, but nothing dangerous.
