NEWS FLASH

TUI fly Belgium is modifying its operations between Brussels and Pristina during September and October with a select number of flights to be operated with a triangle routing. The carrier will maintain services with the routing Brussels - Pristina - Thessaloniki - Brussels on September 15, September 22, October 2 and October 6. On September 26, the service to the Belgian capital will operate via Dubrovnik, while on October 3 a stop will be made in Corfu. The flight on October 16 has been cancelled. TUI fly Belgium will not sell tickets between Pristina and the other European cities, while passengers will not disembark the aircraft during the stop. All other TUI fly Belgium flights between Brussels and Pristina will continue to operate nonstop. The carrier maintains three weekly services between the two cities.

He probably thinks that these triangle options are inconvenient, almost as if you are taking a bus. I would never book such a flight, a stopover in a random city where you sit on the plane for god knows how long until they board the plane and luggage, a mess IMO

I flew ZAG-ZAD-PUY and PUY-ZAD-ZAG and it really is fun, so long as the stop is sort. Anything more than 25 minutes is too much

Anon 11:19 TIA-PRN took 28 minutes and we spent 1 hour and 4 minutes on the ground. Had a good chat with the pilots and since we were on the ground I had unlimited internet, time flew by really quick.

thats sounds very inconvenient. just because you had a chat with the pilots doesnt mean it was as fun for the rest of the passengers

I just talked about my personal experience. No one's forcing you to fly it. That flight usually has pretty good loads so I guess not everyone thinks it's as inconvenient

Jesus Christ here we go again. Yes for me as an aviation enthusiast who took this flight just once it was an interesting experience, and that's it. It's simple, you can either pay 300 euros to mama Lufti to transfer in VIE, FRA, MUC, potentially risking missing your connection flight or losing your luggage. Or you can spend an extra hour on a half empty plane, it's not as dramatic for everyone.

I flew couple of times multiple stop flights and it was fun. I love flying and didn’t mind at all. People that find it inconvenient are either spoiled or just don’t like flying. Once I flew on CSA between BCN-PRG with a stop in Marseille. We didn’t leave the aircraft during the stop, new passengers got onboard and we were in our way in cca 30min.
I also flew few times in Brasil between Porto Alegre and Sao Paolo on TAM airlines (some 20 years ago) with stop in Curitiba. The flight continued its route all the way to Recife and Fortaleza. That was like a bus trip, and I remember very well that the ground stuff walked in and started vacuuming the aircraft before new passengers boarded in Curitiba. It was super fun 🤩

Spoiled??? So you buy a nonstop flight PRN-BRU only to be inforned by TUI that your flight has been modified and now includes a stop in Corfu and your journey time has been extended by 3 hours and somehow you should be happy?

I mean it's pretty obvious that person is talking about flights with a stop in general and not a scenario where your non-stop flight gets a random stop out of the blue.

But this is a random stop. It was just modified. Tickets werern't sold like this originally.

I get that, I was trying to say that in such case that your originally non-stop flight gets modified, than yes that would be rather inconvenient for most people. But Anon 12:06 was not talking about this particular scenario, hope I'm clear now.
