NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia has recorded its busiest October since rebranding under its new name eleven years ago. The carrier welcomed 381.386 passengers on its flights during the month, representing a 4% increase on the same period last year. It operated 4,071 flights, an increase of 49 compared to October 2023. In the first ten months of 2024, Air Serbia handled over 3.8 million passengers, up 7%. Its most popular destinations in October were Tivat and Podgorica in the region, Zurich, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Rome, Frankfurt, and Milan in Western Europe, while the most sought-after flights in the Euro-Mediterranean region were to Larnaca, Istanbul, and Athens. Boško Rupić, Air Serbia’s General Manager for Commercial and Strategy said, "October, our birthday month, was very special. At the start, we welcomed our 30-millionth passenger since we began operating under the name of Air Serbia, and just a few days later, an Airbus A330-200 aircraft for long-haul flights joined our fleet. Our strategy of expanding our fleet and network of destinations has proven to be successful. Thanks to this, and the trust that passengers show us every day, we are registering record results month after month. We will continue to expand our network in the upcoming period by introducing nonstop flights to Shanghai, Ibiza, Mykonos, and Sardinia. I believe this will delight our passengers”.
