NEWS FLASH

Skopje Airport welcomed 208.924 passengers through its doors in March, representing an increase of 6.6% on the same month last year. The figure was achieved despite its busiest carrier, Wizz Air, reducing capacity by 4.5% in March. During the first quarter, Skopje Airport handled 595.546 travellers, which is still down 1.3% on the same period in 2024 following a softer January and flat February, or some 7.727 fewer passengers. Growth is expected to continue into May with current scheduled capacity up 8.5% compared to last year.

Wizz expected growth would be in 2026 , thats what their CEO said in the end of 2024. But I am happy to see growth even with all the W6 cuts...

17:50 even its capacity numbers they reached it without problems , because just couple days after launching they upgrade to A321 and they still operate the same airplane until today , and they will continue with A321 , which means there is a need right.
