Pegasus Airlines will commence operations between Istanbul’s Sabiha Gockcen Airport and Ljubljana, as previously reported. The carrier will introduce flights between the two airports on Monday, January 26, operating three times per week with the 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft. Capacity will be increased to the 239-seat A321 from the start of the 2026 summer season on March 29. Tickets are now on sale through the carrier's website. Further flight details can be found here. The new service will operate alongside Turkish Airlines’ double daily flights between Istanbul’s main airport and the Slovenian capital.

This year there will be around 1,58 mio pax and only the additions I wrote about will bring us extra 246.000 seats, and there are other increases and potential new routes as well.
In terms of connectivity to hubs, LJU is doing exceptionally well, we're just missing some LCC options
