Air Montenegro has purchased its third aircraft, an Embraer E195 jet, which it has been leasing since last July. The aircraft is registered 4O-AOE and is the third plane of the type to be owned by the carrier. “The acquisition followed a comprehensive analysis, which confirmed the investment’s economic viability. Subsequently, the Board of Directors approved the purchase proposal, while the Government of Montenegro granted its consent to the transaction”, the Chairman of Air Montenegro’s Board of Directors, Tihomir Dragaš, said.

As previously reported, Air Montenegro will soon lease another E195 jet, which is currently undergoing maintenance in Germany prior to its delivery by the end of the month.

ReplyDeleteMontenegro has become quite popular so they can't really go wrong wih summer routes.
The PSO being late is definitely a major issue though.

ReplyDeleteNo. I think they want to use the opportunity to add planes and grow right now. They might try to compete until they join EU. After that, they will probably give up supporting Air Montenegro and airline will stop flying soon after, with Ryan, Wizz and LH Group taking over some routes.
