European aircraft manufacturer Airbus has held its Fleet and Network Lab in Belgrade over the past few days. The advanced training and collaboration programme is designed for airline professionals responsible for fleet planning, network strategy, scheduling and commercial development. The event saw a number of carriers participate. Through a combination of data-driven analysis, case studies and practical workshops, participants learn how to optimise aircraft utilisation, evaluate new route opportunities, balance capacity with market demand and maximise fleet efficiency. Recent host cities of the invitation-only event included Singapore, Dubai, Miami, Tolouse and Istanbul. It comes weeks after Boeing held its Airline Planning Workshop in the Serbian capital.
