Montenegro Airlines has seen its passenger numbers improve during the first half of the year. The Montenegrin carrier handled 272.568 passengers between January 1 and July 15, an increase of 1.3% compared to the same period last year. Figures were up 5% on scheduled services. "Trends indicate an increased interest in our national airline and Montenegro as a country. The company's management will consider its commercial strategy for the upcoming winter season and plans to cooperate more closely with the Montenegrin tourism sector", the airline said in a statement.
