Belgrade's largest airlines by scheduled seat capacity, May 2025
Not too bad. I guess June should do much, much better since we had a lot of extra capacity as well as new destinations both by JU and W6.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I am impressed by Lufthansa. In May they had like 30% of the capacity offered by Wizz Air.
100k passengers for LH, OS and LX combined is impressive.
DeleteVery good result, especially considering orthodox Easter was in May last year but in April this year.
ReplyDeleteNot enough to reach 9 million passengers in 2025. Next three months will inform us if that number is achievable.
ReplyDeleteJune is going to be strong because Wizz Air added frequencies and 2 more routes, as well as Air Serbia added couple new routes. However, July and August are going to be the strongest with over a million passengers per month.
Delete9 million is reachable and depends how summer will perform.
It means they need to add at least 600k passengers. Last year they added 400k
DeleteBut last year Wizz Air did not grow, this year they are.
DeleteOnly Wizz is adding close to 200k seats, Air Serbia is planning 300k more passengers. In total, 9 million is possible.
DeleteI hope Lufthansa also increases flights in winter
DeleteAnyone remember what was capacity growth for May?
ReplyDeleteI think around 6%
DeleteAdmin, is there any chance to make an article about route performance in 2024 from BEG? I remember you have published after Q3
ReplyDeleteWould be fantastic
