NEWS FLASH
An airline has been awarded slots by Saudi authorities to launch flights between Jeddah and Pristina this coming winter season, which begins on October 26. Based on the slot filing, the carrier has been granted 132 movements on the route, or 66 flights for the duration of the winter, which runs until March 28, 2026. Jeddah Airport serves as a base for flag carrier Saudia, as well as low cost airlines Flynas and Flyadeal. Airlines are not obligated to launch a route for which they requested and received slots and can substitute it with a different service instead.
