NEWS FLASH
Turkish Airlines’ subsidiary AJet will introduce a second new route to Sarajevo in the summer after initially scheduling operations from Bodrum recently. The airline will commence two weekly flights between Ankara and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital on July 1. It will utilise the Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the route. Ankara will become AJet’s third destination from Sarajevo, complementing the recently announced Bodrum, as well as Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen. Further flight details for the new service can be found here.

Maybe is for turkish tourists?
ReplyDeleteAnd a ton of Bosnian businessmen
DeleteYes, there are so many Turkish tourists on the streets of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It would be nice if they introduced flights to Mostar.
Delete@14:52 Istanbul flights? Those would make sense, but the problem is that OMO requires extra pilot training. Eurowings did that last spring before launching DUS and STR, and Mostar paid. Otherwise, Eurowings wouldn't have launched those flights. I still hope that some airline will launch Mostar-Istanbul. TK would be perfect, but AJet or Pegasus are more realistic.
DeleteIt seems that every single airline that has Turkish Airlines in its ownership structure will find its way to SJJ. I know that AJet had also been at SJJ earlier, but they didn't fly to Ankara. Soon Air Europa to MAD will be the only one missing.
ReplyDeleteYes very soon 😂
DeleteBravo Sarajevo! Keep em coming :)
ReplyDeleteIs this again for tourists?

DeleteMaybe a number of tourists who would have gone to Montenegro will opt for Bosnia now.
ReplyDeleteProbably. I have friends who moved to Montenegro from Turkey. She is Turkish, and her husband is from Argentina. They moved to Podgorica two months ago and moved their business as well. They sent me a message saying that they are moving out of Montenegro because they don’t feel safe.
DeleteYep, a lot of Turkish tourists are re-routing their plans from Montenegro to Bosnia now
