Croatia Airlines boosts Mostar - Beirut service

Monday, May 25, 2015

Croatia Airlines has increased flights and capacity on its seasonal service between Mostar and Beirut. The service will now operate twice per week, each Thursday, with both flights departing Mostar in the evening and arriving in the Lebanese capital just after midnight. The return service is scheduled to depart Beirut early in the morning. The Croatian carrier will maintain both weekly flights with an Airbus A320. Services will run until October and cater for Christian pilgrims visiting the Medjugorje site near Mostar. This is the second year that Croatia Airlines has been operating services from Mostar to Beirut.

How do they have the traffic rights to fly this route when they are not an airline with a BiH AOC ?

Jaka konkurencija za MEA, koji obavlja sezonske letove iz Beiruta za Sarajevo

Ne obavlja više. To su ti letovi prebačeni u Mostar. MEA nije htjela preusmjeriti letove pa je uletjela Croatia

Probably the only instance when OU regrets not having a 350-seater in their fleet :)
