Montenegro Airlines to settle airport debt

Monday, May 4, 2015

Montenegro Airlines will settle debts owed to the operator of the country’s two international airports - Podgorica and Tivat - amounting to 6.423.390 euros. The debt repayment will start on March 1, 2017 and will be payed off over 108 months. The Montenegrin carrier will make payments of 79.301 euros each month between April and September, while a further 39.650 euros will be paid between October and March. Montenegro Airlines has outstanding debt of 68.980.608 euros to various service providers. The carrier finished 2014 with a net loss of 9.5 million euros. The Montenegrin carrier was required by law to submit its 2014 financial results to the Department of Public Revenues by March 31 but has failed to do so. In 2013 an independent auditor found that the airline had falsified its financial reports on several occasions. The government is seeking to sell a stake in the loss-making airline this year.

Another dead end story. Just bankrupt the company asap, start from fresh. It's more then clear that they are not fit to run an airline, nor is the construction as such viable. 69 meur in outstanding dept.....last the loss of 9.5 meur.....please stop the stupidity!
