PHOTOS: A350 visits Pula

The Airbus A350 XWB operated a training flight from Toulouse to Pula this morning, making it only the second time the aircraft model has touched down in the former Yugoslavia. The A350 XWB is the world’s most technologically advanced commercial aircraft family, competing with both the Boeing 787 and the B777. This new-generation jetliner, which entered commercial service in January 2015, offers seating capacity between 250 - 440. As part of its testing phase, it visited Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport in 2014 in order to review landing procedures on a wet runway. Pula Airport is used for training purposes by a number of commercial airlines. The jet touched down in the Croatian city at midday before returning to Toulouse. The aircraft in question is the first A350 produced by the European plane manufacturer and is almost three years old.
