Air Serbia’s ninth ATR72 readies for delivery

Air Serbia is shortly expected to take over its eighth and ninth ATR72-600 aircraft. As previously reported, the eighth turboprop is currently in Toulouse and has recently entered into the Serbian register as YU-ASF. It is nine years old and was formerly operated by Brazil’s Azul Airlines. In addition, the ninth ATR72-600 was recently painted in the airline’s livery in Toulouse. It is eight years old and was most recently operated by Slovenia’s Amelia International. The Serbian carrier also plans to take over a tenth ATR72-600 later this summer. All three incoming aircraft are being dry-leased from Nordic Aviation Capital.

  2. It has been periodically reported that Air Serbia tries to dry lease A320 family(1-3 Aircrafts).
    Are there candidates that can be leased?

    I know the market is really bad right now...too few aircrafts that can be leased.

      Airbus family are mostly impacted by the RR engine issue. Likely high demand and high prices being offered by competitors so I would say they won’t be getting any of those until the dust settles.

    Bravo JU! It's good to see that their regional fleet is growing as previously announced 10 and also without ACMI. 10 like first Marek plans, now added. Till July the fleet will be as February ( for example); ATR, ERJ and 320 and 330. Two A330 will be added by July and one A320 why not two. It seems very nice in this dynamic times...
