NEWS FLASH

Air France has delayed the resumption of its flights between Paris and Belgrade. Earlier this month, the carrier announced it would restore operations to the Serbian capital on March 28, however, the airline now says that due to the ongoing global health crisis it has pushed back its resumption date to April 28. Services will initially run three times per week, increasing to daily from July 5. Since the Covid-19 pandemic hit, Air France has resumed flights to Zagreb and Ljubljana in the former Yugoslavia. Air Serbia continues to link Belgrade and Paris.

      Wow, really bad.

      One month of delay... Disaster.

Not having TATL or any other widebody flights would be terrible, but it is the story for some other airports in the neighbourhood, not BEG.

Taking in consideration Serbian passport holders can't enter EU this is more than expected.

Yeah, cause it would otherwise disturb the glorious epidemiological situation in the EU.

Haha :) We have learnt by now that there ain't a bigger hypocrite than the EU. After all, they introduced the virus to Serbia.

Sure, try to be funny, but the virus came to Serbia from Italy, not from Wuhan. We should not be allowing anyone who visits Italy in until the pandemic is 100% over. But hey, we do let everyone in, since we're not fascists like the EU ;)

And at least five new routes being launched in the next 2 months. Yeah, real disaster.

We don't know yet. W6 are constantly delaying their announcements, U2 desperate for cash launching flights until Sep 2022, LH barely looking into MUC, OS regularly using turboprops and you tell me it's not a disaster??? This will be a difficult year and let's see if we even reach 1,5 million this year instead of 1,9 last year. Things are not looking good :(

Ironically LH is resuming flights from MUC to BEG in two weeks, unlike other places.

Highly doubtful. More delays are expected due to the lack of demand. 2021 will not be a good year. Harsh times ahead :(

From June onwards BEG will make up for quiet winter and spring. There is no need to worry, BEG is far ahead of any exyu competitor.

W6 have just expanded in the Greek islands to many European cities but doubt that they will fulfill their promise. If AF are back this year, their daily flight is quite ambitious tbh. Many airlines are operating 1-2 wekkly flights let alone a daily one!!
