Adria Airways and Air India have concluded a new codeshare agreement which will come into effect from January 15, 2015. Adria will place its “JP” designator code and flight numbers onto Air India’s service between New Delhi and Frankfurt. In return, India’s national carrier will add its flight numbers onto Adria’s service between Frankfurt and the Slovenian capital. “We are certain the new codeshare agreement will increase the exposure of both carriers on each others’ markets and will open new possibilities for the two countries to cooperate, especially in the tourism sector”, Mark Anžur, Adria’s CEO, said in a statement. Both Adria and Air India are members of Star Alliance.
