Tivat Airport has been reopened today after its runway was engulfed by flood waters yesterday following heavy rain. In some areas authorities reported up to 140 litres of rain per square meter. Operations at Tivat Airport were disrupted yesterday afternoon. Air Serbia diverted its service to Podgorica, while Montenegro Airlines cancelled its flights to Belgrade. Furthermore, a flight to Moscow was also cancelled and the airport was subsequently closed. As the low front clears the area, Tivat Airport has been reopened this morning with operations running smoothly.
