Low cost and leisure carrier Jet2 plans to commence seasonal flights between London Luton and Dubrovnik next year. Services will launch on May 7, initially once per week, before increasing to two weekly from May 25. Operations will be maintained until the end of the summer season in late October. London Luton will become the airline’s tenth destination to Dubrovnik, complementing its flights from London Stansted, among others. No other airline currently flies between this London airport and Dubrovnik.

Earlier this year, Jet2 scheduled its first new route to Croatia for 2027, between Edinburgh and Pula. In late 2025, the airline inked a four-year strategic partnership with the Croatian National Tourist Board, aimed at significantly increasing tourism from the UK to Croatia. Jet2 has committed to growing its flight capacity to Croatia over the coming years, including launching new routes.

It's as if TUI has gone silent over time. Before the pandemic they had more bases not only in the UK. Now they are much smaller. I was surprised to see that they were selling holidays with easyJet and Ryanair.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I understand, they want to work with different airlines and establish themselves as a tour operator, not an airline. I like the LS model better.
DeleteNothing beats Jet2 really. It's really one of the growing companies last years.
ReplyDeleteYeah you will not be able to save 50 pounds per person or 200 pounds for a family of four in Dubrovnik. Everything is soo expensive there
