Star Alliance partners Croatia Airlines and TAP Portugal will enter into a codeshare partnership on the new seasonal Zagreb - Lisbon service. TAP Portugal will place its flight numbers and designator code onto Croatia Airlines' service between the two capital cities. The Croatian carrier will introduce three weekly flights on the route from May 20. TAP Portugal suspended its year-round service between the two cities this March.
Pitty these flights are only seasonal.

TAP puts its flight number on Croatia Airlines flight, meaning it can sell tickets on this Croatia Airlines flight as if it were its own. From the fare it gives part of the proceeds to Croatia Airlines and the other stays with TAP. For passengers it is a good idea that they book with the codeshare partner (for example you are flying Zagreb - Lisbon but you should go on TAP website to buy the ticket because it is usually a few euros cheaper than the ticket sold by the actual operating airline, which is in this case Croatia Airlines).
