Ex-Adria CEO takes on new airline role

The former CEO of Adria Airways, Mark Anžur, who led the airline from December 2012 until its sale in March 2016, has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Irish regional carrier Stobart Air. Mr Anžur has been registered as the accountable manager for the airline with the Commission of Aviation Regulation. Stobart Air, formerly known as Air Arann, boasts a fleet of seventeen ATR turboprops and operates a number of flights on behalf of other carriers, including Aer Lingus. Mr Anžur entered the aviation sector in April 2012 as a strategic sales and marketing specialist for Adria before being promoted to CEO several months later. He is an economics graduate from the University of Ljubljana and was also educated at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Mr Anžur takes over at Stobart Air from Sean Brogan.

      if he will be allowed to make some changes in the management of Stobart Air poor airline.

    How did he land this job?
    His references are just destroying and making debits. Again poor Stobart Air.
    Hope they fill fire him quickly. Pleas don't pay him to exit.
