Tuzla and Banja Luka swing to growth

The airports in Tuzla and Banja Luka in Bosnia and Herzegovina have returned to growth following several months of declining figures. Tuzla Airport welcomed 27.626 travellers through its doors in October, an increase of 1.7% compared to last year. It represents Tuzla's first passenger increase following three months of softer figures. So far this year, Tuzla Airport has handled 259.598 passengers, an improvement of 18.4%. On the other hand, Banja Luka Airport saw 1.905 travellers in October, up 6.9% on 2015. Overall, it handled 19.152 passengers during the January - October period, which is still down 4% compared to the same period last year.

    The heading is totally misleading. Just a quick reality check, without going into details. BNX is in decline with nothing on the horizon. TZL on the other hand is expecting WZZ to add a second A320 to its Tuzla Base soon.
