NEWS FLASH

Wizz Air has temporarily suspended operations between London Luton Airport and Ohrid. The last service on the route is scheduled to take place today, after which operations will resume on Sunday March 26 and run twice per week. Initially, flights between the British capital and Ohrid were launched last year on a seasonal summer basis, however, the airline later upgraded the route to year-long operations. Wizz Air's flights between Basel and Ohrid remain unaffected and continue to run throughout the winter. Ohrid Airport recorded its busiest year in 2016, handling some 137.000 passengers. Further growth is expected in 2017 with flights from Warsaw and Katowice to be introduced this summer by one of Poland's largest tour operators.

Smart move by Wizz. OHD-LTN was never going to work year-round.

Ovaj podatak nije tacan. Za 11 meseci je prevezeno 136025 putnika. Za decembar nemam podatke, ali je sigurno bar 6000.
