NEWS FLASH

Qatar Airways has finally begun sales for its new Doha - Skopje service, which is scheduled to launch on July 17. As previously reported, flights will run four times peek, each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, on board the Airbus A320 aircraft, featuring a two-class cabin configuration with twelve seats in business and 132 in economy class. Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker, said, “Our new four weekly service to Skopje is a much anticipated addition to our global route map, connecting leisure and business passengers to and from the Republic of Macedonia. Those travelling on Qatar Airways from this destination onwards to our global network will be able to connect seamlessly through the state-of-the-art Hamad International Airport to destinations such as our recently launched gateways of Auckland, Sydney, Krabi and Windhoek”. The full schedule of the new Doha - Skopje service can be found here.

This is too much for Skopje, 2/3 weekly would be enough.

I do hope promotional sales will also include flights from SKP (currently theres this Valentines 2 for 1)... the first comparisons i made still show more expensive flights ex-SKP than e.g. ex-VIE.
I thought Qatar entering the market would lead to lower prices.. seems to be a BS..
