Record January for Podgorica Airport

Podgorica Airport registered 50.799 passengers through its doors during the first month of the year, representing an increase of 23.4% compared to January 2016. The number of aircraft movements stood at 410, up 10.8%. Growth is expected to continue in the months to come. This year, Ryanair will launch a new service from Stockholm Skavsta to the Montenegrin capital, while LOT Polish Airlines will commence seasonal flights from Warsaw. Furthermore, Alitalia will boost operations between Rome and Podgorica from its current three weekly service to daily.
