NEWS FLASH

Ryanair will host a press conference at Niš Constantine the Great Airport on Wednesday, where the carrier is expected to announce its future plans for the airport. The low cost carrier currently operates services from Niš to Bergamo, Berlin, Bratislava and Weeze. Ryanair's Marketing Executive for Italy, Greece, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia, Chiara Ravara, said last year, “We look forward to opening additional services in the future. Basing an aircraft is currently not an option for us, but developments take place quickly with Ryanair. Of course, this does not mean that Rynaiar will not continue expanding its network from Niš and attributing to its passenger growth". Niš Airport welcomed 66.220 passengers during the first quarter of 2017.

Rynair has said they are exploring the situation in Mostar, so I think they will start flights from/to Mostar earlier and not Tuzla

Ryanair only serves BVA (Beauvais-Tille Airport), so if they anounce a flight to Paris, it will be that one...

It's a very basic airport... I don't like that it's not so close to Paris, it took me 2,5 hours with a shuttle bus, which was supposed to be much less, if we could avoid the traffic and construction work site... Also, if you include the price of the bus ticket on top of the flight, sometimes it's better to fly legacy to CDG or ORY, Wizz is not cheap from Belgrade to BVA anymore.

Unfortunately neither is JU to CDG, you are lucky if you find a fare for €240. I guess JU has an excuse, they fly to CDG, what's Wizz Air's? Besides being desperate for cash.

It seems JU doesn't have the problem to fill their planes to Paris, I was on a flight to CDG in May, without a single empty seat in econmy, business class was 4/8 ... A lot of people connecting to AF/DL flights to the USA, including a group of 56 Work and Travel students.
So I would guess that's why they keep their prices high.
Also, it's ridiculous to pay 140 € for Wizz Air flight to BVA (I just checked a random date in May), where you can't even have a proper hand luggage.

I guess INI will finish this year with around 350,000 which is fantastic. BEG and INI which are two main airports under Belgrade's control could handle close to 6 million passengers. :O
