NEWS FLASH

Turkey's Atlasglobal will strengthen its operations between Istanbul's Ataturk Airport and Belgrade starting next month. The carrier, which commenced operations to the Serbian capital in March, will introduce an additional three weekly flights for a total of ten per week from June 19, each Monday, Friday and Sunday. Services will operate with the 204-seat Airbus A321 aircraft. The flights are codeshared by Air Serbia, which suspended its own operations to Istanbul in mid-March. In addition to Atlasglobal, Turkish Airlines runs a double daily service from Ataturk to Belgrade, while Pegasus Airlines operates four weekly flights from Sabiha Gokcen Airport to the Serbian capital.

well on the first flight there were barely 60 Pax on board an A321. Turkish airlines have to send their birds somewhere now that the EU Market has shrinked considerably for them. They certainly wont make any money here.

Lol... yeah, KK is increasing flights and capacity because they want to lose even more money. Lol

well I don´t know what the reasons might be for their increase but with an average of 80 Pax there is actually neither a need to increase flights nor to operate them with an 321. But maybe for them it is.

Says who that they have 80 passengers? On many days they increased the route to an A321 so stop trolling.

Anon 13.00 is abslutely right, Turkish carriers operate 28 weekly flights into BEG just because its cheaper than to have those planes parked in Turkey. *rolls eyes*

Every tkt where ASL is involved in cooperation with KK is ridiculeously expensive. I don't think that they have many passengers on the IST route or any benefit from this codeshare cooperation.

In return KK codeshares on several JU routes and soon to New York so there is a reason why they codeshare.

No way in hell i'm gonna loose time veryfing your stupidity. I checked fares weeks ago from Istanbul and most of them were reasonable. If anything, that can be justified by healthy loads, which is why these additional flights are introduced in the first place.
