Tuzla Airport records spectacular growth

Tuzla Airport has registered its strongest April on record, with passenger numbers soaring 100.3% compared to the same month last year. The airport welcomed 50.615 travellers, with Wizz Air fuelling the growth after basing its second aircraft in the city during the month and launching several new routes. So far this year, Tuzla Airport handled 128.951 travellers, up 46.5%. Tuzla Airport anticipates welcoming some 480.000 passengers by year's end, which would represent an increase of almost 55% on 2016.
