Peak summer travel is now behind us and both airlines and airports are getting ready for the upcoming winter season, which begins late next month. In August, the most interest was generated by this week's announcement by Thai AirAsia X that it is considering services from Bangkok to Croatia, among other markets in Eastern Europe,. Also popular last month were the developments at Air Serbia and its part-owner Etihad Airways, following the bankruptcy of Air Berlin.

A total of 4.154 comments were made on the 65 feature articles and news flash items published during the month, while visitor numbers increased 30.1%. During the month, the majority of visitors accessed the site from Serbia, followed by Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, the United States, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Australia.
