Brussels Airlines to launch Zadar service

NEWS FLASH

Brussels Airlines will continue to expand into Croatia with the launch of new seasonal flights between the Belgian capital and Zadar. Services will commence on May 12, 2018 and operate once per week, each Saturday, until September 29 with the 98-seat Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft. The airline previously announced it would launch flights to Split next year to replace the now defunct Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium, and will strengthen its seasonal summer service to Dubrovnik with an additional weekly flight for a total of three. However, the carrier has downgraded its operations to Zagreb to summer seasonal flights only. In a statement, the airline said, "Tourism is on the rise in Croatia. More and more holiday makers are looking at the youngest EU member state for a summer holiday along the beautiful coastline, in one of the historic cities or to sail past the breathtaking islands. Brussels Airlines is following up on this growth trend and is expanding its flight offer next summer with Zadar and Split as newcomers. In total, Brussels Airlines will fly to four Croatian destinations during the following summer season: Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Zadar and Split".
