NEWS FLASH

The CEO of Turkey's TAV Airports Holding, Sani Sener, has held talks with the Montenegrin Prime Minister Duško Marković over the planned privatisation of the country's two airports - Podgorica and Tivat. TAV, which has become a global brand in airport construction projects and operations, discussed in further detail suitable concession models with the government. It initially expressed interest in Montenegro's airport infrastructure last October. In a statement, Mr Marković said his cabinet has made a clear commitment to creating conditions for the swift concession and development of Podgorica and Tivat airports, as well as the revitalisation of the derelict airport in Berane.
