Hmm slower growth than ZAG, quite disappointing.

Shame BEG is stagnating. It could have reached a million by the end of March.

So LJU is seriously narrowing the gap with ZAG. Impressive figures indeed!

I have a feeling LJU will overtake SKP this year without a problem. They are going to have a really busy spring and summer.

Just above someone asked why comparing LJU to ZAG, but here we have theories on narrowing the gap.

So does it mean that the difference between SKP and ZAG is less than 100.000 passengers?

Seems like SKP is far greater threat to ZAG than LJU ever will be.

It's unbelievable how many flights to LON they have especially on LCCs while ZAG goes down now that OU sold their slots.

I think many Croats are searching for alternatives to London, during summer this maybe coastal airports with lcc's flying to London like Pula, Zadar, Split. But during winter they are most likely flying from Budapest, Ljubljana, Belgrade and even Timisoara (ofcourse depending where in Croatia they are from)

Dakle, razlika između ZAG i LJU se povećava...
Gdje su sada svi oni koji govore o smanjenju razlike ?

      It's reduced from 170 to 162

well that would be quite interesting mathematically, as the percentage growth of ZAG is 12% of LJU 11% and ZAG has the higher base.

Some more statistics to make the comparisons more interesting:

Capacity increase in first two months of 2018 (according to OAG schedule):

    BEG: 4.3%
    ZAG: 10%
    LJU: 16%

That means the load factors decreased in BEG and LJU, while there was an increase in ZAG. And that also explains the recent feedback we read regarding Adria's cancellations (oversupply in LJU market).

adria dosen't have planes and only they are cancelling flight

What we need to notice as well is that BEG had 1% more movement but 3% more passengers.
Airlines basically added seats, not flights.

LO's February LF in BEG was 84%

Kudos to Fraport. They have been working so hard lately to develop their airports. We have seen nothing but growth lately. They are constantly negotiating new routes. SKG is currently under development, the Greek islands' airports as well.
LJU, VAR/BOJ will see new terminal expansions in the future.
LIM airport is also constantly growing outside of Europe.
I think LJU will see very positive changes in the future and very good luck with the future W6 negotiations too.

Fraport should hve added 4 jetbridge gates to their LJU airport expansion. Boarding thru the bridge is today almost a humanright at least in developped corners
