Sarajevo maintains growth momentum

Sarajevo Airport has recorded its tenth consecutive month of passenger growth by handling 65.991 passengers in March, representing an increase of 15% on last year. The number of aircraft movements stood at 1.017, up 3.2%. During the first quarter of 2018, Bosnia and Herzegovina's busiest airport welcomed 169.124 travellers through its doors, or an additional 27.244 passengers, an increase of 19.2%. Aircraft movements grew 11.4% to 2.710. During the first quarter, Sarajevo Airport processed 516.483 kilograms of cargo.

    Great result Sarajevo, and all that without neither Wizz, Ryan or Easy Jet super-cheap flights being present (apart from Wizz - Budapest). I would love to see how big the growth would be with some of the low-cost flights that Podgorica, or Skopje has. Keep up the good work. :)

    The worst airport in Ex-Yu regarding capital cities,even some airports are way better although not in capital.

  6. Capital city airport without flights to Paris, Rome, Madrid, Berlin, Athens, Prague, Warsaw? It's shameful! (OK for London I understand, as still visas are needed for a trip)

      Athens, Prague, Warsaw and Madrid aren't really the destinations that SJJ needs. They need Amsterdam and Frankfurt ASAP.
