Movements were up 6.1% to 10.458, while the amount of processed cargo stood at 4.003 tons, up 11.1%.

Im very much sure easy wont fly to LJU in the winter season. Just look at the fares. Since tickets went on sale, prices almost havent changed, ergo demand is not strong enough to push the prices up. Another reason why i believe U2 wont stay is that Graz was already scheduled for the winter, on the other side Ljubljana was not. A friend of mine living in Berlin even says that most of slovenians in Berlin are from Štajerska region and for them Graz is closer than Ljubljana, thats why they mostly fly in/out from Graz and Ljubljana.

Would be great to know how bookings till now work, but like i said, fares are a good indicator of the whole situation.

I have noticed that too and I think U2 will not return next year anymore on this route. They got burned badly on it. Poor decision they made.

Yeah, they wont be back. I agree. If Berlin didnt work out (probably the biggest slovenian diaspora - besides London - living far enough that traveling by car is not an option! Sure there are many slovenians in MUC and VIE but both r easily accesible by car) then i dont know which other LCC option could work. Im afraid none, market is just too small ;(((

I agree that slovenian market is too small. LJU doesn't really need new routes, because it can't sustain them. If Adria will keep pushing new routes out, sooner or later it will fail and then 60% or what's adria LJU share?? will be gone. What then? Just 4 or 5 airlines left with 6 destinations left?

    7. Anonymous13:38

I disagree. LJU needs new routes, but sadly the only way they could sustain them is with planes that fit 20 passengers, because there is simply not enough demand for barcelona or milan or rome or scandinavia or anywhere else for a plane with 70-100 seats. That's why they don't start those routes, because they're bound to fail due to not enough demand. It would be great if LJU had more destinations, but at the same time, there simply aren't enough people to fly those destinations.

Well, i believe JP can survive on more routes than LCC, because its much easier to fill up 50-90 seats than 180 on a320, besides the number of seats, JP can charge more (and it doesnt offer more than LcC) and still get pax. Im pretty much sure JP can survive on all the existing routes if the average fare on them will be between 130-230€. I would always pay 180€ Return for CDG from LJU etc

But i think that BCN and scandinavia would work for the right price becuse flights to CPH are always full like HEL but adria prices are just to high for their offer
Next year flydubai comes we will see how much time will it stay

FZ? Where did u get this info? People are talking about it but nothing is confirmed.
BCN could work for JP (but i doubt for any LCC) between may and septembre 2-3x/week with crj700.

LJU is out of U2 plans for TXL, im pretty sure abt it.

Vendar, ce mislijo zaceti v sezoni 18/19 potem casa ni vec veliko. Ce bodo cakali na objavi septembra, potem
