NEWS FLASH

Zagreb Airport today welcomed its millionth passenger of the year, the earliest it has done so in its 56-year history. The millionth traveller was welcomed thirteen days ahead of last year and was travelling on an Emirates flight from Zagreb to Dubai. The lucky passenger, Višnja Mrazovac, received two free return economy class tickets between Zagreb and Dubai, as well as a duty free voucher. “We are particularly glad that the system recorded our one millionth passenger on a flight to Dubai, because since launching services to Zagreb last June, Emirates has significantly contributed to our traffic growth”, Huseyin Bahadir Bedir, the President and CEO of the Zagreb Airport operator MZLZ said. Emirates' Area Manager, Martin Gross, noted, "Emirates is extremely satisfied with the response of Croatian passengers since the service between Dubai and Zagreb was launched. Our support on this occasion further reflects our commitment to the Croatian market”.
