SmartWings upgrades Split and Dubrovnik flights

NEWS FLASH

Czech low cost carrier SmartWings will upgrade its seasonal flights from Prague to both Split and Dubrovnik to year-round operations. Services this winter will run three times per week, each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. They will be operated by ČSA Czech Airlines, which will also codeshare on the two routes. SmartWings holds a 78.9% stake in ČSA. The three weekly flights to the two coastal cities will be maintained with the seventy-seat ATR72 turboprop aircraft over the winter months.

Well done DBV and SPU! Seasonality is slowly being ironed out.

Lol...OK is the biggest joke in aviation.
They acted so unprofessional in SKP.
I hope they don't cancel their flights.

    1. Agree. Even RJK which so far had no winter scheduled operations, this winter has 2 weekly Trade Air to Osijek, Split and Dubrovnik, 2 weekly Croatia to Munich and 2 weekly Eurowings to Dusseldorf. Finally something :)

They cancelled many other routes in the past. I am sure they will do the same now. They are not a serious airline.

It is SMARTWINGS which markets the flights. It is not OK, they will just provide the equipment for the winter. SMARTWINGS has been around in SPU and DBV for a long time now and fly daily with 738/9/M to both SPU and DBV.

SMARTWINGS has never cancelled any flights before they launched.

Yes, but the operator is OK, which is a terrible airline. Period.

Nope, Prisko owns 20%, Smartwings almost 80%

    2. I apologise, you are right. Travel Service only plans to acquire Prisko's stake.

Very good. I still do not understand why AirSerbia is not keeping year round flights to Adriatic coast. They could attract a number of transfer passengers.
