Split Airport handles three-millionth passenger

NEWS FLASH

Split Airport welcomed its three-millionth passenger of the year yesterday, marking the first time it has achieved such a milestone. The traveller arrived on a Croatia Airlines flight from Frankfurt. Split Airport's General Manager, Lukša Novak, said, "It wasn't so long ago that we used to welcome our millionth traveller this time of year, and then later our second millionth passenger. Within just three years we increased our figures by one million, meaning we achieved our goal". He added, "By the end of the year, we expect to handle a further 150.000 passengers". Split Airport has seen its figures grow by 10% in 2018. The airport is in the process of building its new multi million euro terminal, which is scheduled for completion early next year. Some 70% of construction work has been completed so far.

BA just announced increases/decreases for next year and I was sad to see ZAG remained unchanged. I hope they add more flights to ZAG. BUD is going 32 weekly. :O
